Just before tomorrow's exam, there will be a session to remind you of the key points of Aspects of Narrative, in the hall. Don't be late.
DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR CLEAN COPIES OF YOUR TEXTS
YOU DON'T NEED COPIES OF THE POETRY--THIS WILL BE PROVIDED
YOU DO NEED COPIES OF GATSBY AND THE CURIOUS INCIDENT
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteJust had a look on the AQA website, and the exam for Jan 2010 isn't on there. Do you know what the questions were?
Would be useful
Thanks
Hey, I was wondering this too so I googled it and found this:
ReplyDeletea) Chapter 5
b) View: obsession of money and the consumer culture of the 1920's dominates human thinking and behaviour
But I'm not totally sure if that's what it actually was because I couldn't find it on the AQA website either.
Thank you, you clearly have more common sense than i do! Good luck tommorow
ReplyDeleteWow! How useful is a blog--you answer each other's questions.
ReplyDeleteNow sleep tight my little ones and get your rest for tomorrow--you will do WONDERFULLY.
You're right though... I checked and Gatsby was:
ReplyDeletea) Write about some of the ways Fitzgerald tells the story in Chapter 5
b) What do you think of the view that obsession with money and the consumer culture of the 1920s dominates human thinking and behaviour in The Great Gatsby
Section B
Specimen was Places or Beginnings.
Jan 09 was Events or Titles.
Jun 09 was Characters, or Time & Chronology.
Jan 10 was Crisis or Repetition.
so... possibly endings? Voices?
Remember AQA have said that they will repeat section A targeted texts if they want to..
